Why?

Antwerp Colors(AC) was created to support artistic development and cultural exposure of individuals. In particular we aim to empower beginning artists in and around Antwerp.
AC provides room for activities that go beyond the offer at the Royal Art Academy of Antwerp. AC opens the door to the rest to the city.

What we do?

We try to organize a whole range of activities related to art. These include :

• Training classes on specific painting topics or techniques.
• Organization of art exhibitions for art students and emerging artists.
• Support and advice for artists.
• Guided museum tours.
• Art weekend trips.
• Support of Artistic education programs for Ukrainian community in Antwerp.

Who?

AC was originally created by Abraham Neufeld in 2019 enabling all sorts of art activities that go beyond the regular students curriculum.

In 2023, the ownership was taken over by new enthusiasts and senior students. AC is now driven by

• Joyce van Dijk, Mixed media artist in search of beauty.
• Petra Gruiters, Artist of romantic oil paintings that capture the beauty and vulnerability of femininity.
• Koen Verschaeren, Consultant, hobby cook, artist.
• Herman Feyen, Writer, poet.
• Philippe Delbeke, Daytime satellite communication engineer and artist.

With some essential supporters

• Abraham Neufeld, Inspiring teacher and driving force at AC.
• Sylvani, Still life artist and AC enthusiast.
• Hanneke Koopman, Allround artist.

And of course many other supporting hands.
